San Andrés is a Spanish brand dedicated to the production of turron and sweets since 1984, thus coinciding with the launch of Michel Jackson’s success, Thriller, we do not know if he came to taste our sweets and nougat, what we do know is that with more than 30 years of experience, San Andrés continues to give away special moments at homes.

1900: Everything begins here…

The journey of the Requena family begins with Andrés. The production of the nougat was 100% artisanal, delicious mixtures in the form of nougat that later reached many homes.

1940: From sons to sons…

With a growing production, Andrés cedes the business to his sons Jacobo and Andrés, thus beginning one of the company’s traditions, sharing the same dream with his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughters.

1962: New incorporations…

New additions to the team arrive. Andrés Requena began his career in this company, first as a laborer and later as a production manager. In these years the society formed by Jacobo and Andrés separated.

1984: San Andrés…

Frutas y Turrones S.A is created, and then, the current brand, San Andrés. This new brand has as its main objective the national market but with concerns of expanding it to the international market.

1999: We continue growing…

International and national commercial expansion were growing and this requires a restructuring and expansion of the facilities.

2009: Recognition of work…

The Albacete Chamber of Commerce grants San Andrés the award for Business Promotion. This is a recognition of the work done over the years.

Nowadays: Quality and innovation as a strategy…

San Andrés adopts the strategy of betting on the quality of the products, implementing continuous improvement systems that guarantee quality. In addition, there is a constant adaptation of traditional products to new consumer habits, creating product lines for consumption throughout the year.

What began as a family business is currently a benchmark in the international market, being present in more than 25 countries in Europe, the US, Latin America…
